Related exists because being interesting shouldn't require a content calendar
Most platforms ask creators to keep producing — another post, another video, one more thing to feed the algorithm. But the thing people actually want from you is rarely more content. It's you, directly. A conversation. A question answered. Just someone who replies.
We built Related because turning that into income used to be awkward, invisible, or simply not possible. Creators already do this work for free, every day, in an inbox nobody pays for. We wanted to give it a front door — with a price on it, and no extra content required.
This isn't only for creators
You don't need thousands of followers or a personal brand to make Related work. If a handful of people on Instagram, TikTok, or LinkedIn would genuinely want to talk to you, that's enough. The internet is full of interesting people nobody pays to hear from — and full of people who'd happily pay for five real minutes of someone's attention.
Why this matters now
We're living through a loneliness epidemic, and it's not for lack of connection — it's that reaching someone real, someone genuinely interesting, usually goes nowhere. A free DM competes with hundreds of other free DMs and loses. Putting a price on a conversation isn't cynical; it's what makes someone actually answer. Related exists to lower that barrier: pay a little, get a real reply, from a real person.
